Welcome to Custom Care Nursing!  

My compassion accompanied with extensive managerial, financial and health services experience have enabled me to establish both Support Link (2008) and subsequently Custom Care Nursing (2012).

I was born in Upper Hutt, New Zealand, moving to Hawke's Bay to be located centrally in 2008.

Treating every situation as unique, considering whanau and the individual Client makes Custom Care Nursing stand out from the rest.

My continuous ‘great ideas’ certainly keep Head Office Staff on their toes, along with constantly reviewing and ensuring we are providing an excellent service in every aspect.

Doubling annually since 2008 is proof in itself that we are providing a quality service, ensuring both Clients and staff are part of the family company.

I drive from my Equestrian Farm and Vineyard each day to Head Office in Napier, I also enjoy travelling around the North and South Islands visiting Clients and our front-line staff.  My door is always open, and calls/visits are welcomed and extended to all.

I ensure I always have my finger in the pie – whether it be answering the phone, coordinating, payroll – allowing me to ensure that my vision is transpired throughout all aspects of the Company.  I love spending time with my children and horses.

I joined the CCN team in June 2013 as Payroll Administrator, since then under Ali’s guidance I moved into roles as Service Coordinator for MIS Clients Nationwide and Gisborne/South Island RTI Clients which I thoroughly enjoyed. I was then offered the role of Office Manager before moving into my current role of Regional Service Coordinator Manager.  I really enjoy working in the CCN team with such a diverse group of people. We all have the focus of providing an exceptional service to our many Clients. I really enjoy talking to our Clients about their lives and hearing about how we make a difference – according to others I am a problem solver extraordinaire.

Coming from a Supervisory Management background with the Local Newspaper and a Payroll/Administration background with one of Hawkes Bays largest Seasonal Fruit Exporters gave me the foundations to grow into and learn about the Healthcare Industry and turn that into my new passion.  

I enjoy Hockey (more watching now though) and admit to being a bit of a Gamer.  I love a good coffee, meals out, and have a wicked sense of humour….and sarcasm! I enjoy making people laugh and lightening the mood of others.  Animals are a large part of my life and I am currently owned by 3 cats.

I have worked in HR for over 15 years and before that worked in a management role within the banking industry.

I joined Custom Care Nursing as the Human Resources Manager in February 2016 – my main focus is finding good, kind and qualified staff to work with our Clients. I enjoy working with people from all walks of life, cultures and backgrounds.

I enjoy Custom Care Nursing’s fast paced environment and I like to think we make a positive difference in people’s lives – both staff and Clients!

In my spare time I love to get together with friends, watch rugby, go to concerts and ride my horse!  I love animals and I love to travel.

I have been working in the health care industry since I started at Custom Care Nursing in April 2015, bringing to the team my analytical and accountancy experience.

My role at CCN is Quality Manager, which involves ensuring we have the policies and procedures in place to ensure we deliver an excellent standard of care for our Clients.

I enjoy working in a family-based business that focus on providing an exceptional service.

My hobbies include walking, yoga, and reading. I am very active in both the equestrian and farming communities, volunteering and organising events.

I’ve been with Custom Care Nursing since 2013, which has been fantastic! I’ve always pursued roles that I feel benefit the community and where I can make a difference in people’s lives and Custom Care Nursing has provided this for me. Every day is different, every Client and Support Worker is valued, and I work with an excellent team of people dedicated to providing the best service possible. Although I’ve mainly worked in administration, I’ve also had several years in science-based roles and volunteering, both of which have given me experience that has proven useful in my current role.

As Relationship Manager for Custom Care Nursing, I ensure all our service users are treated as individuals. I assist in ensuring all standards are exceeded in the industry.

When not in the office, I do stand-up comedy and travel around the country with family whenever I get the chance.

I have watched Custom Care Nursing evolve and I am proud to be able to share my mother’s (Ali Brittain’s) passion for providing an exceptional service to our Staff and Clients. 

Having studied for three years at Victoria University of Wellington, graduating with a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in marketing and management, I am excited to take Custom Care Nursing into a new generation of Health Care with the most advanced technology, fresh skills and ideas.

As Executive PA, I ensure the CEO and Management have support. I also have oversight and responsibility of our staff training and am responsible for adapting our processes and training material to ensure staff can easily gain their qualifications in-house. In addition, I assist payroll, invoicing.

I enjoy talking to people with different values and beliefs and learning how these can benefit our Clients and Support Workers. 

In my spare time, I like to attend Zumba classes with my friends, have down time with my family and ride my horses. I also love travelling!
