Registered Nurse position

We need team members who are driven, compassionate, and excellent communicators. You’ll need to be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, have an eye for detail, and the confidence to make clinical decisions independently.

Essential criteria
To be successful in this role, you’ll need to meet the following requirements:

• Current registration with Nursing Council of New Zealand as a Registered Nurse

• Clean NZ driver’s licence

• Competent computer skills

• Demonstrated ability to work within a team

• Demonstrated time management skills

• Effective communication skills

• Positive attitude

• Right to work in NZ

Desirable criteria
We’d love to hear from you if you also bring:

• Competency in wound assessment and treatment

• Knowledge of the principles of palliative care

• Competency in all aspects of urinary catheterisation

• Understanding of the provision of health services in the community

Physical requirements for the role

• Able to drive comfortably for up to an hour at a time

• Comfortable with night driving

• Physically agile – able to kneel down

• Able to get one knee up on a bed to provide care
