Kia Ora, my name is Eileen and I have been working for Custom Care Nursing as the Recruitment Officer since July 2015.  I provide administrative support, complete reference checks, staff files, police vetting checks and assist new staff through our employment process.  I like working with people and I am detail focused, so I love this type of work.

In my spare time I am usually with my family and friends or in the garden tending to my plants and vegetables. I like doing a bit of DIY home reno or cooking yummy food in the kitchen.  I also like to go fishing, camping and enjoy music festivals and concerts.  I try to keep fit by hitting the bike trails, walking my crazy little dog Kaya and I also love swimming. 

Custom Care Nursing offers a supportive and fun environment.  I feel lucky to be part of the team and enjoy meeting and greeting new employees to the company.

Hi, my name is Ashleigh and I started at Custom Care Nursing in October 2020. My previous role as conference coordinator gave me a good foundation of knowledge to begin this journey as referrals coordinator.

I have always enjoyed interacting with people and am looking forward to supporting our Coordinators and Support Workers to ensure our Clients will be getting the best care possible.

I am thankful to be working in this supportive team environment.

In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family, going out to dinner with friends and also finding new places to go biking with my partner.

I started working at Custom Care Nursing in 2014 after completing a Diploma in Business Studies at the Eastern Institute of Technology.

I started out as an Administration Assistant and am now on the Payroll team as a Payroll Administrator. 

I thoroughly enjoy my job and the people that I work with. They’re a fun, supportive and family like team. I also enjoy working closely with our coordinators to ensure our Support Workers are paid on time every week.

My hobbies include cooking/baking and caring for my young son. In the weekends, I often travel between Auckland and Napier to ensure my son spends lots of time with both sides of his family.

Hi, my name is Shanae and I have been working in our family owned business ‘Custom Care Nursing’ since August 2017. I am on the payroll team, so I help with processing timesheets and making sure our Support Workers are paid on time. I also provide support for the quality and referral teams.

This is my first job in the healthcare industry and I enjoy learning new things and helping our Clients receive the best care possible.

Ever since I was little, I loved helping people and I believe customer satisfaction is the most important part of any service. This is the reason I wanted to be a part of the quality team - so that I can see what our Clients and Support Workers like and dislike and help them solve any problems they may be facing. 

In my spare time I like going to the gym and spending time with my family riding our horses.

I joined Custom Care Nursing as an Accounts Administrator in August 2015. I have worked in various roles in the Banking sector, Education sector and have worked in Administration roles for the last 16 years.

I wear a few hats here at Custom Care Nursing, which means there is always plenty to do! My focus at present is assisting in the Referrals section setting up new referrals and adding extensions to existing referrals.

I am also on the Payroll and Invoicing teams and take care of all the Agency Client invoicing. I am responsible for setting up our new Remote Worker system.

We’ve got a great team here in the office, and I can honestly say I look forward to coming to work! The day goes fast and there are always a few laughs to be had.

Outside of work I like to do a little cycling, a few hours at the gym, walk my goofy Boxer, George, and spend time with my hubby and four children. Gardening is always high on the agenda and I love seeing the results it brings.

Hi, I’m Tracey and I joined the team at Custom Care Nursing in November 2019. I am part of the Payroll team and help out in other area’s when needed. I’m enjoying my role and learning along the way, I am grateful for the Opportunity to work with such a great team. I have worked in the Health Care Sector for many years, breaking away to be a Qualified Nail Technician, but my love and passion always brings me back to what I know best. I have come to Custom Care Nursing from the HBDHB where I started as a Care Associate, then moving to an Admin Position.

I grew up in a Rest Home as my Mum was the Manager, so started working there at the age of 12, helping out with the evening meal, over the years I covered many roles, even doing Management courses with Mum to help her in her 24/7 role, gaining many life skills along the way.

I have two Gorgeous Grandchildren, and travel to see them as much as possible, I dabble in Cake Decorating and Candle making, and love to catch up with Family and Friends for Coffee or Wine.

I have worked in customer service for the past 4 and a half years. Throughout last year I was studying to get certificates in First Line Management and Administration and Technology. This is my first job in an office and I have enjoyed learning the new skills that came along with it.

I enjoy working with people and find it interesting learning about the different aspects of working in the healthcare industry. I have a gained more respect for others working in the same industry as it can be quite challenging but also very rewarding!

In my spare time I enjoy seeing my friends and family and spending time at home.

Hi everyone,

I’m Christina and I have joined the referrals team here at CCN.

Some of you may remember me from before as this is my second time working here. I enjoyed it so much the first-time round I couldn’t resist coming back! I have moved back to NZ after a year in the UK and am looking forward to enjoying the sunny Hawkes Bay weather again!

I have worked in Customer Service for the past ten years and enjoy working with people, especially in the healthcare industry.

In my spare time I like to road trip around New Zealand with my husband, I enjoy various arts and crafts and relaxing at home in front of a good movie and a glass of wine!
